Where does the live data come from?

From an account you already have — TradingView real-time alerts today, broker connections like Tastytrade and Schwab next. Goldmine reads your bars; it does not resell data.

Can it place trades for me?

Paper trading works out of the box. For prop firms that ban bots, Assisted mode sends you the signal and you tap to place it. Live routing through your own broker stays off until you turn it on.
